i'm looking for something that's good and has dvi out, pretty powerful, that won't hurt my pocket too much. What will give me the most bang for my buck?

Would the ATI Sapphire Radeon 9200 be a good choice?

thanks

Id take alook at the r9600 series there the best price performance around and there around £114 (sapphire 9600XT 128mb)these cards will also be good in the near future (DX9 performance is good)where as the 9200 will not.

My system:
AMD Athlon Barton 3000xp+
ATI Radeon Hercules 9800pro 128mb
WD 120gb 7,200rpm 8mb cache.
512mb twinmos pc3200
ASUS a7v8x-x Mobo.

I'll second that, if you want a decent card with DVI and enough power to get you by for cheap, the 9600 PRO is the way to go.

Depends on what you are doing, but I agree, the R9600pro is a very good choice for 90+% of the situations.

The R9200 is lacking in many areas.
