Good sound card for gaming/music

Hi i'm looking for a good sound card for gaming and also music,my setup are logitech Z623 speakers and grado sr80i headphones..is xonar essence stx good upgrade for my setup?currently i'm using Asus Xonar DSX.

Yes. The Asus Xonar Essence STX is an amazing sound card. I upgraded from the Xonar DX to it and it's worth every penny.

is it got any different cuz if i'm using it with those speakers and headphones?

You can probably hear the difference with the speakers, but not with your headphones. Those are not good quality headphones. With your current set, you probably can't tell the difference unless you have a keen ear or you're a musician, music aficionado, or an audiophile.

i see so if want to hear more different i need to get a pair of better headphones then right..so overall this sound card is better than the current i got then..thank for the answer bro
