Good sounding microphone to attach to headphones?

I have the V-moda Crossfade LP for listening to music and YouTube, but don't have a mic to game with. I found the boompro attachable microphone also by V-moda, but I don't want to pay thirty dollars + usually thirty more dollars for shipping to me. Is there anything with the same concept as the boompro that is cheaper? (not like the modmic or zalman). Thanks!

Whatever You do, get a noise cancelling mic.

I would replace my headset with a Logitech ClearChat headset with a noise cancelling mic built in:

Okay thanks for the information. But the Logitech isn't what I was looking for.
