I recently turned 16, and I am eager to start a job. I was wondering what kind of technical jobs are even available to 16 year olds. I know that most technical jobs require some certification or degree to even be considered. I have built my own computer, helped build others, am learning HTML and CSS, built my own arcade machine, taken a few computer classes, and placed 1st in state/ 6th in the nation for the TSA video game design competition. (I also love computer design) I know having a computer job at a young age will be great for my resume and building up experience.
So I guess my question is: What kind of places would even consider hiring me?
Also any tips would be awesome!
Thanks from a very eager teen to start building a good reputation. :)

To be honest, about the only place that will hire you without at least a High School diploma is Best Buy or the like. Start at cashier and work your way onto the Computer Sales Floor or maybe even the Geek Squad (once you have a certification or two under your belt). Once you graduate from High School, start looking into Summer internships for Help Desk/Systems Administration/Programming; which ever field you're looking to get into.

Forgot to mention. If there are any Mom and Pop Shops in your area, it might be helpful to get to know them (and they'll get to know you). Drop by from time to time and talk shop with them.

Another option is to start your own training program. There are many tutorials and training apps...

Agreed.

I also recommend going onto odesk.com and look for some tech jobs there. Beauty of odesk and sites like it is that you can work from home on your PC.
