Hi all,

My sister is looking for a computer system for my nephew so he can play Fortnite online smoothly with max settings. I was thinking of getting it from Alienware or Digital Storm, but I would like to ask the more experience people here first. Thank you and I am much appreciated for any help.

The best settings, so guessing 4k right? And is 144hz better than 60hz?
On a game like Fornite higher refresh rate is better.
Everything will be brand new, my sister is willing to spend 3k for a computer system if need too just for Fortnite. But if I can do the minimum payment to get Fortnite at max then that will be better too. In a nutshell, I just want my nephew to play Fortnite at the best graphics with the best speed so he has some awesome no lag playthrough.

With max settings but at which resolution and refresh rate?
1080p, 2k or 4k?
60hz, 120hz, 144hz, etc?
Do you have a monitor?

Would wait a few weeks and go for something like a R5 5600X or 5700X which will be much better than the intel chips.

Also thr 3080 is out of stock everywhere something like a 5700XT will do fine for literally half the price.

32GB is overkill

Would also like to point out you don't play at max settings because it puts you at a disadvantage.
