Hey all. So I'm basically just looking for either some good computer related books or some good books which are more loosely based around technology, like a biography of computer pioneer, etc. I read two of Steve Jobs' biographies and enjoyed them very much, him being a very interesting person, be it for the best things or the worst. I'm also reading a book about the fundamentals of computers called But How Do It Know and also iWoz, about Steve Wozniak.
I don't have very much actual computer knowledge really, I mean, more like that kind of pseudo-computer knowledge ("intel this", "amd that", "nvidia those"), but don't know much about how they actually function. I'm starting an undergraduate mathematics degree in september so maths is fine for me and I hope to eventually end up doing something in computer science, and I'm considering a conversion course or something depending on how much I enjoy maths for the next few years. NO FICTION PLEASE.
Any suggestions are welcome and thank you to all.
