Budget: Fortunate enough to say budget is not critical, however as I'm only really interested in improving speed in picture/video editing and browsing and don't play games I don't see a need to spend much more than $100-$150.

A little more info; my system is a custom built 6 year old PC but I've decided to keep it for a couple more years so with the change to Win 10 Pro 64 bit I've:

increased RAM to 16 GB
added a 128 GB SSD for my system drive.

For general computing it is now more than adequate for my needs but the existing EVGA Geforce GT 430 card is definately the slowest item on my machine.

So far I've considered either a geforce GT 730 or 740 but as I have no real idea what will give me the best general performance upgrade thought I would ask for some knowlegable guidance. I also see there are numerous configurations using DDR3 GDR3/5 and PCI Express X16 or X8. As my motherboard is 2.0 X16 128 bit I'm assuming it would be best to pick a X16 and 128 bit card whichever card I select.
