Good upgrade from GTX 750 1gb OC?

Solution
oupss, my bad! ;-) So, 550W is enough for a 480, 470, 1060 or 1050ti.

So, if you have a crappy PSU, would be better to pick the cheapest one (1050 or 1050ti) and use the money that you saved to upgrade your PSU and add more RAM... As I can see in your signature, you only have 4GB of RAM. To play latest game with good performance, you should have at least 8GB.

That being said, i think it will be difficult to upgrade your GPU, PSU and RAM for Under 200$!

edit. Yes, upgrading to a 1050ti from a 750 will be a huge upgrade!!! As i can see, 1050ti are performing about like a 960!

Good luck!!! ;-)

Depends on your current PSU. If it's a crappy model (or especially if it's from a prebuilt OEM), you're going to want to at least get one of the low-power GTX 950s, or get one of the new GTX 1050s when they come available.

If you have a decent 550W+ PSU (or are willing to upgrade your current PSU), then for that price you want at least an AMD RX 470, possibly the 3GB version of the GTX 1060.

Would be easier for us to recommend you something if you tell us what kind of system you have (cpu, psu, RAM)...But, for that price, you can have a RX480 4GB. That would be the best card for Under 200$ US! (if you have the PSU to run it).

Getting a 1050ti and another 4gb ram really is my plan in the first place But the huge jump in performance in 1050ti to 1060 or 470 really makes me think otherwise.

Well I'll just do some research for my PSU, if its reliable I'll get 1060 or 470 and get a ram later if not I'll do a 1050ti and a 4gb ram.

Thanks!

believe me there is a big difference with my "1GB'' 750 and the 750ti 2GB GPUs.This VRAM really limits my options in video/graphic options in games.

Thanks though :D

If you're running at 1400x900 then you don't really need an RX 470 or more. In fact I think a regular 1050 will do fine. Your 750 is not a ti and it's only got 1gb of vram, so even a 1050 2gb will vastly improve your gaming. The extra 4gb system ram is worth it for games. If I was in your position, I'd rather have the 1050+4gb ram than a 470 and have to play with 4gb total system ram. Then again, it's cheaper to upgrade ram later than to upgrade a videocard again.

I'll probably get a 1080p monitor this Christmas though and if ever I'll get the 1050 ill get the Ti 4gb for sure and not do the same mistake like this 1gb non ti ever again, if I have gotten the 2gb ti version I'll probably not asking for an upgrade. Thanks for the suggestion though :D
