[SOLVED] Good upgrade memory

Got a 2400g and a b350 motherboard currently with 2x4 gigs of ram, looking to upgrade. Question is what brand of memory should i look at? i tried to upgrade a few months back to 16 gigs of corsair but kept having issues and memtest86 both times(two seperate kits) came back with errors. Gonna try from newegg this time rather than amazon. Never used anything besides corsair but little iffy about trying them again.

What MHz rating is you current memory? and what was the upgrade you tried? The 2400G R5 is only good for 2400MHz and 2933MHz JEDEC supported memory.

Im currently running 3200 just fine, was just gonna upgrade capacity from 8 gigs to 16.

Ah good to know. They must have finally updated the support list.

As for brand I personally recommend anything but G.Skill. I surprised that it came back with an error if you purchaced the same brand and MHz rating as the current 2 x 4gb.
