Good Used Computer For Hosting 2 Websites and a Forum

Currently I am hosting two websites and a forum off of a raspberry pi but because the CPU in the PI bottlenecks the server I am looking at getting a refurbished computer. My budget is $250 and I don't want something that consumes too much power and gives off too much heat. Any good ideas?

Maybe join the future and stop doing it the old way. Nobody hosts their own web sites anymore. Even huge companies outsource this function.

For $250 you should be able to lease server space for a fairly long time. Since it appears you have low traffic rates if you can host it on a raspberry it should be very inexpensive. I can't give a good recommendation since I was using vpn at high traffic rates.

Your best bet is going to be garage sales and maybe a local flee market. You can look on ebay but because shipping is going to be a lot I would look at laptops.

Walmart sells a number of brand new laptops for under $250.

Or something like this - user Intel NUC-sized PC. Add $30 for small SSD, and you'll get pretty powerful PC for whatever you want it.
