You can't find anything on Google anymore. YouTube abuses independent creators only to force the worst corporate content milled garbage on earth down everybody's throats. I have a minor anxiety attack every time Android or an App I like updates, because every update always makes everything worse. My previous experience with Bard so far has been that it was basically one of those annoying customer service chat bots deliberately designed to make customers get mad and go away - also all of its answers were usually wrong, and it would often contradict itself.

Every aspect of their ecosystem is currently burning out in a fiery tailspin. I have zero faith that Google is capable of putting out a worthwhile product right now, so there's zero chance I hand them cash for their probably-useless AI gimmick. They can't get email right anymore, but they expect us to believe they will ever make an AI worth paying for?
Fix your old crap, Google. Until you get your basics back in order, there's zero chance I start paying "infinite money forever" for your closed-source plagiarism machine. A plagiarism machine that ultimately is just going to make their annoying fake search results 10000x harder to manually sift through.

It is worse than Bard.
I gave to him a list of free software, including Firefox, and asked it to complete the list without repeating the same type of software... It made a list of browsers, and failed to correct himself even when I told what his error was.

And It kept adding images with the logos of the browsers, even after I repeatedly told it to write text only.

  • Gemini Advanced can be your personal tutor — creating step-by-step instructions, sample quizzes or back-and-forth discussions tailored to your learning style.

It will be interesting to see how well that works for primary school and university level subjects. For $20 a month, which includes the 2TB Google One tier goodies, that's far cheaper than a personal tutor.
