Google Chrome completely and consistently unresponsive

The other day out of no where when I opened up my chrome, it became unresponsive (froze) and then I had to task manager end task. Since then it has consistently become unresponsive upon the first click in the browser when I open it. I have Uninstalled it and reinstalled it multiple times, deleting Browder data, and renamed it to defaultold as I have looked for on troubleshooting stuff. None of it has helped. Any idea on what to do? I don't wanna be stuck with Firefox or explorer.

Run a malware scan just to be safe (Malwarebytes for example).

Also, try creating a new browser profile in Chrome. (Manage People > Add person)
