I went on holiday to return to a huge problem, my keyboard previously worked perfect with multimedia keys on my Logitech G910 Orion Spark however now it seems to disable the usage of them.

A quick Google revealed that Google Music may be the culprit... but I don't have it nor do I have any extensions that use the media keys. When I exit Chrome, Media keys work perfect on iTunes. When it's on it doesn't work.

I would appreciate any help I can get because multimedia keys are a huge part of my desktop usage.

UPDATE - Now my multimedia keys work but my volume increase decrease bar doesn't do anything.

Hi,

Please do try these troubleshooting steps that may help.
- First is to uninstall/reinstall Google Chrome browser.
- Next is to install the Logitech software for your PC
- Here's the link: http://support.logitech.com/en_us/product/rgb-gaming-keyboard-g910#download
- Reboot your PC once the software has been installed.
- After the reboot, do test it again and see if the same problem will persist or not.

Hopefully this will help. :)

Well I have done everything that you have suggested and nothing seems to be working unfortunately.

I have never used those keys myself, i only remember there is a volume bar when someone reminds me. First day I got mine the button that disables windows key fell off, but it went back on again.

To further isolate why the sound/media buttons on your G910 Orion Spark RGB mechanical gaming keyboard does not work, feel free to try the steps below:

Test the keyboard on a different USB port.
Avoid using KVM Switches, Port Replicators, and USB Hubs.
Test the keyboard on another computer.
Check if HID Service is running.
Open Windows Services. To get there, launch the "Run" box (Press Win (Windows key) + R on your keyboard) and type services.msc. You can also go to Start > Control Panel > System and Security > Administrative Tools > Services.
Look for "Human Interface Device Access". Right-click and restart its service status. Its startup type should be "Automatic".
Close the window. Restart the computer if necessary.
Check if the media keys are working.

You know I'm beggining to think that is to do with iTunes. When I open it it doesn't work however when I previously had it closed volume control seemed to work.

you could be on to something there:

When I stream iTunes music to my Denon receiver with Airplay, the volume cannot be controlled with the volume buttons on my Logitech keyboard. I need to activate the iTunes application and use CTRL-Up instead. My OS is Windows 10.

Is there a way to use the volume buttons on my Logitech keyboard (so that I don't have to switch to iTunes to control the volume)?

Thanks in advance!

My computer is now really confusing me, suddenly I can globally control the volume using the volume increase and decrease.... I'm hoping this is permanent.
