Google Chrome keeps freezing my PC and not letting me do anything untill I reboot. HELP

I just installed a new CPU to my computer. The CPU is an AMD FX 8350 Black Edition. Before installing I made sure all of my hardware is compatible. I made sure I had sufficient cooling for it as well. After installing it Chrome does not like to play nice. If Chrome is installed on my computer it freezes and makes a loud buzzing sound, and I cant do anything without rebooting my PC. Without chrome installed my PC runs fine with no crashes. I am running 64bit Win8.
