Google if you don't send one of those to me in Australia (stop piloting on one land mass!), one day you'll regret it! I'll come knocking on your door with ideas and I won't tell you them!! And people tell me I have good idea's.

Too bad the pilot program is limited only to the U.S.

A real pilot program for a company this size should be carried out on each continent, as I'm sure different usage habits will occur thus providing a much better picture to Google.

This being said... I want my Chrome Notebook!!!!

Not as bad as I do, I applied for the pilot program even though I don't live in the U.S.

Maybe they would be generous enough to give me one (I wish, too bad U.S only), I make video's and reviewing a chrome notebook would really help me get my views up.

It's kinda funny how Google has such great public feedback on everything they do. When the Chrome notebook first surfaced here at Tom's, I read many people praising its design. It was a plain black notebook. Now they praise the colorful stickers. I can't help but imagine that people wouldn't have that reaction if the same product was released by, say, Acer. It's the google magic.

We now live in an age where 'the latest thing' really is the must have, must comment, must praise item. Doesn't matter if it doesn't offer anything at all new (Google laptops) etc, it only matters that as individuals, we're cool, have the latest tech and love it no matter what.

Then again, I must admit that Sony, Fujitsu, Acer, Asus, Dell, HP etc aren't exactly setting the world on fire and are, to a certain poiint, damn lazy.

Either way, it sickens me what we're becomming. Remember boys, that hot blonde that you see every single day probably isn't bothered of you like the latest Android device, but she might be bothered if you can fix her 'windows' machine. :)

sucks, I hate the stickers.
I also hate google OS.
And I hate google for NOT sending me one of these laptops, which I probably would have converted into a Windows or linux machine anyway.

I wish my CR-48 had come with stickers. Sadly nobody who sees me using my CR-48 asks or complements me because it looks just like any other PC and attracts no attention. I would've loved one HUGE Chrome OS logo right smack in the middle of the lid. Perhaps a BETA sticker on the back.

People are free to do what they want. Some people like bumper stickers plastered all over their cars. They're sometimes fun to read at stoplights; my all time favorite bumper sticker is "nice boot. wanna fsck?"

While I'm firmly in the restrained black box camp, as a joke, I put a white Apple sticker in the middle of the lid -- except that it's upside down. Nobody has said anything yet. If it was nicely done, I could be tempted to replace the Apple sticker with a round Chrome OS sticker -- if I could get my hands on one.

Before the Apple sticker "upgrade," someone approached me in a coffee shop and asked if I was using a Google Chrome OS notebook, so at least a few people out there notice.

Wow, now one won't have to fret about giving his new laptop a hint (or in this case,) a splash of color! Really cool laptop sticker design. Maybe he can add more stickers with custom designs!
