Google chrome slow tab switching?

Hello, this entire day I have been experiencing slow tab switching. Every time I want to go to another tab, it takes around 3 seconds and then pops up and it is really annoying... It never did this before though. I tried using ccleaner and fixing registry, but it's still doing the same thing. If anyone can help I'd appreciate it.

It didn't work, and I have 8gb ram so I'm pretty sure it's not that.

GTX 760 ftw 4gb, FX 8320, M5a97 R2.0, 750b supernova, 1 tb wd hdd, and an 8gb g. kill ram. It just started today and i've had this pc for 2 years...
