Hello,
So i noticed recently the cpu is idling at 80% usage, and realized it's two processes of google chrome, now i though it might be some tabs i had opened or some shady extensions i had downloaded, which all had great reviews and no one had the same problem, i tried shutting down the process from task manager and chrome actually kept working with all the extensions and tools, so i don't really now what are the processes for, they startup with the system every single time, so i hope somebody could help me.
i included some photos of the task manager, my chrome extensions and chrome's task manager.

thing is, chrome in the taskbar should appear like the 3rd Chrome in your image below

with all of its tabs appearing if you had clicked the arrow to left of its name
for example

Try running an anti virus scan or malwarebytes and see if you have any infections.

There is a bug with Task manager in the latest version of win 10 (1809) but in that case the totals don't add up. I don't think its related to this.

Chrome has a repair tool that can eat CPU usage but it normally appears in the listing under the main chrome task, not as a new instance.
Most likely you have a lot of applications running in the background. That list is on the Start up tab of Windows Task manager (use the disable button to disable applications from running constantly).

Typically the browsers are big memory hogs. So shut them down when gaming for example.

To cleanup the applications loaded at start up, go to the Start up tab of Task Manager. Then scan the list of applications(not system or necessary applications) for those that have medium or high impact on start up. Then select the application and use the Disable button at the bottom of the page. And then repeat the process.

Then do the same for applications that you don't use every few days. And note that this doesn't delete the application. It just prevents them from running constantly (and eating up your system resources).

And additionally, each Chrome page that is open adds up to that CPU % and Memory % usage.

Also, I've had more than one Chrome installed before (designated by a number after the Chrome). Simply delete Chrome in Windows and then download & install Chrome again. It deletes the other copies.
