Google Chrome time not matching computer time

I've had a problem for as long as I can remember, where on any website EVERYTHING will say it is 2 hours older than it actually is. On Facebook, a post that has just been made will say "2 hours ago". On FB messenger, instead of messages saying "10:25" as they are, it will say "8:25"
same happens on 4chan and numerous other websites

Hi,

Most websites such as Facebook, Bing, Google use the computer time zone to synchronize your data with their data servers. So when the websites display (t-2) hrs on every data, actually what happens is that the time associated with your data is wrong due to a wrong time zone setting.


To solve:

Right click on the time display at the right bottom of the screen & click on Adjust date/time.

Then go to time zone setting & select your appropriate time zone.

If the time is auto-corrected, its done. If not, either you set your time manually or sync your time with the Internet time server.

I'm in central US, and for some reason my shit was set to Pacific. This explains why I would log on and my time would be 2 hours ahead and i had to change it back manually. I got pissed at my brother because i thought he was fucking with me by changing the time on my computer lmao. Thanks man
