The box keeps turning red when I torrent stuff and I have to switch it off and on again. When I download large files/games/Videos from other sites like Steam, YouTube, Mega it is fine but when I try to torrent something large the internet just cut off after about 30 minutes. It's very frustrating when I'm downloading large file at night. The internet package is unlimited and they didn't say anything about torrent. I can't talk to the ISP my self because I'm not the one paying to them directly. I think it would be faster to ask the internet. I'd be more than happy to give you the logs, just tell me how 😀 Thankyou.

Solution
I haven't seen this issue, but one of the things different about torrent downloading is the number of connections it makes.

You may want to try going into your torrent client settings, and dropping the max number of connections to a very low number, and if the problems go away, double it until the issue happens again, then back off.

If you can log into the google fiber box, you may want to check logs (or turn them on and wait for the issue to occur again and check logs again, as they aren't always on by default). If temps are available, if the temp seems high, try moving it to a better ventilated location (may want to do this anyway if you have it in an enclosed space).

Just some ideas.

Good luck.

P.S. Don't pirate stuff.

"Files, movies, games" from sites including Mega. I'm not just making assumptions.

My friend made a game that is now on alpha. He uploaded to the torrent for out group to try it out. The game is like 40gb
