The funniest part is Google Now only runs on Jelly Bean (meaning about 16% of Android devices have it). iOS 6 is on over 60% of devices, so if Google Now was limited to iOS 6 there would be several times as many users who could use it as on Android. And that's IF they even limited it to a specific iOS version.

Yet people still claim there's no fragmentation problem with Android.

[citation][nom]k7mm[/nom]So when is siri coming to android?[/citation]

Since Apple's business model doesn't revolve around collecting information and serving ads (like Google) then I'd say never. They won't make any money giving anyone Siri, so why bother.

On the other hand, Google will make a lot of money having Google Now on iOS devices so it makes perfect sense for them to port it over.
