Go look at comment sections on their biggest cash cow, YouTube, and you'll find a nice collection of the most deplorable people on the internet. Google does nothing to deal with it as the triggered environment creates so much re-visits and ad views that they don't know where to put the billions they're making from it. "Freedom of speech" is their defence, yet they have policies about things people aren't allowed to do or say. Hate speech is however allowed. The thing that in extensions causes more death and suffering than anything else in the world. They claim it's too complicated to deal with, yet, they have almost flawless filters to remove stolen content on their service, filters that are so effective it even finds snippets of copyright violations. But, hate speech is somehow impossible to fix. "Takes years to find solutions for". As many years as it'll be a driving revenue generator....
