Question Google PDF viewer fails to open PDF files when document is moved from internal storage to SD card.

Whenever I download a PDF file to my Android (8.1) internal storage and open it with Google PDF viewer (default), it works fine but when I move the same file to my SD card (portable), the viewer fails to open the document saying "invalid format." I thought maybe there's some permission issues, but other PDF documents already present in the SD card do not have this problem and the viewer can open them just fine. Not sure how to access permissions for Google PDF viewer to check since it doesn't even appear on the installed apps list. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I'd be tempted to try a new SD card for troubleshooting purposes - - copy one of those troublesome PDF files to it, then see if they'll open.
If it makes no difference it could mean there's a copying issue recently cropped up on your Android device that's corrupting files during the transfer.

You can open it on Adobe pdf viewer.
