Google Photos Crash... Nexus 5

Google photos Just started crashing on launch.
I've tried clearing data and cache, this allows it to find and open up my photos, but only once.... Once i close the app and open it again it continues to crash.
I waited for a patch to come along, which was today, but still crashing.

Is this a known problem and is there a fix?

I never had this issue try reinstalling google photos maybe,i had an issue with camera crashes but after 5.1.1 its ok
