[SOLVED] Got a 1070 planning to upgrade to a 2060 but

So yeah i have a 1070 that ive very recently purchased so i can return it still very easily and buy the 2060 instead for 20€ more, i was thinking of doing it today but i got concerned about the 6gb vram that the 2060 offers, as the 1070 has 8gb

Should i upgrade or not? I need some help

For a mere 11-12% bump in performance and the loss of 2GB VRAM, I think I'd keep the 1070. Unless you are really interested in Ray Tracing games, which are scarce yet. And I'm not sure the 2060 can do the job with those games.

I'm in the same boat as you with my 1070s. (in different machines) Think I'll keep mine for awhile longer.
