Recently a bought a second hand pc.
Quite nice specs:
CPU: i7 3960x
CPU cooler: Corsair H80 (watercooling)
Motherboard: Asus P9X79 pro
GPU: Asus GTX 560Ti
RAM: 16GB (not sure what brand) @ 1333MHz
SSD: 120GB (again, not really sure what brand, sorry, I'm on my crappy laptop now)
HDD: 2TB WD green (5400 rpm)
These parts are about a year old, never have been overclocked.
Now, I was wondering, since I mainly use my pc for gaming, wouldn't an i7 3820 be better?
I don't think I will ever use my current cpu to its full potential.
Do you guys think there are people that would buy my 3960x for about €700? (I still have the original cooler)
I'd then buy a 3820 for €270 and use the money that I made to buy a new/second video card.
