I am looking for help. I bought a pc and it has a cm1630 motherboard. The bios is 04_ _. Now the latest bios for that on is 0801. I am having trouble getting it to recognize the 780 ti that is in it. Would that help? It cant tell what graphics is installed but has no problems with the other hardware. I read that sometimes the bios needs to be up to date for it to read newer tech. I have never updated a bios. I could not find a guide specific to my Motherboard. Is it pretty standard? Are there risks? I appreciate any and all help. Thanks.

I'd firstly test the graphics card in a different PC, to make sure that it does work. Then check the power requirements for the card and make sure that the PC's power supply does meet them and all required PCIe connectors are in place.
If all checked and still not working, you can try updating the BIOS.
Download the file from ASUS, unzip and save it on a flashdrive.
Check the settings in BIOS for memory and storage so that you'll be able to set them back after the update.
In BIOS use the EZ Flash for updating the BIOS.
Make sure that the power doesn't go off during the process.
With the board, even if something goes wrong during the process, you can buy a BIOS chip from ebay for the M4A78LT-M board and replace the original one (it's on...

Ok so I cannot get the file to show up in ez flash. I have my flashdrive formated to fat32 and have the rom file unpacked and on there. It just does not show up. Any suggestions?

Edit: I was not selecting the right drive to find the file. all good now. Still having trouble getting my pc to get the right gpu but I will figure that out
