I just noticed on newegg they have the EVGA 04G-P4-2978-KR GeForce GTX 970 4GB 256-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 SLI Support FTW ACX 2.0 Video Card marked down to $459.99 instead of being $479.99 plus free shipping. I was thinking of getting this GPU instead of the other GTX 970 I was looking at that was priced less. I was just woundering if my MB and CPU can handle it.

Here's a link to each GPU I am considering:

Thats the EVGA 04G-P4 one.

Here is the other one:

Finally here's another one:

That one is a EVGA 04G-P4-3975-KR GeForce GTX 970 SSC ACX 2.0+ 4GB 256-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 SLI Support Graphics Card.

I am just wondering which one would be better to get and what are the differences between the three.

here's a link to what parts I have atm:

In terms of a PSU I am debating over two of them atm. My only concern is 750w a bit to much power for this system as I don't plan to OC at all.

This one is the Cooler Master V650 – Compact 650W 80 PLUS Gold PSU with Modular Molex/SATA Cables (Haswell/Kaveri Ready)

http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817438017

This one is the :

EVGA SuperNOVA 750 G2 220-G2-0750-XR 750W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Full Modular Power Supply Intel 4th Gen CPU Compatible 10 Year Warranty

any help would be appreciated or if you feel I should get a different PSU that's no problem.

Solution
Please keep in mind that when going for GPU's a more, high tier single card is always better than two lower tier cards. Choosing a more powerful single card will not only preform somewhat better, but will also be easier to setup, and manage. for the PSU, i would suggest getting about 200w over the maximum that your computer will need on max load.

alright so if I pick this one:

EVGA 04G-P4-3978-KR GeForce GTX 970 4GB 256-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 SLI Support FTW+ ACX 2.0 Video Card

What would be the recommended PSU in regards to my CPU and MB?

The 650w PSU that you have chosen should do the job
