I used to have a MSI Z77A-G41. I was helping my landlord clean out his garage where he had some old bitcoin mining rigs, and I found his mz77 mpower was still in working condition. Since it seemed that the mz77 was basically a fancier version of my z77A, I changed it out with my current rig. It acted kind of funny when I first started it up, but overall seems to be working okay except for oooooone little thing.
I can't get any sound out of the back speakers plugs. I have downloaded and installed the realtek drivers from the MSI website twice, but upon restart and start up I don't see it active in the quickaccess bar like I'm used to seeing. I've also tried switching over to Microsoft's audio manager but the only speakers it's showing in the playback devices is the monitor speakers (which do put out audio but not very good quality).
Any ideas what might be wrong?
