Got a new power supply and pc still won't power on

I have recently installed a Corsair 850W power supply because my old one died on me and my system still won't turn on. Any suggestions as to why?

How did your old power supply die? Can't you get into the BIOS at all?

Ye I was going to ask the same as the user above. What caused your PSU to die?, as it may of taken something else with it when it popped.
