got a new video card.. ET crashing

Hey guys,

upgraded my video card to a radeon 9550s and since then i can play
about 3 mins in a multiplayer ET game before my computer freezes
(sound loops whatever was playing in the last second) takes a hard
reset/reboot to get back into windows.

got the latest vid drivers, got the lastest sound drivers. doesn't
happen if i'm just in the game by myself (if i start a private
server).

i've tried different levels of detail and sound to no effect. a friend
suggested i could have conflicting IRQs (between network card & either
video or sound) but i can't find any conflicts.

help?

got the latest vid drivers....Thats the problem, no doubt...I had the same
situation, go back to the old drivers, there is a bug in the new ones.
online multiplay will lock you up every time!
