Got a seagate 3tb my win7 Gateway 4300 only sees 749 mg what to do?

Got a seagate 3tb, my win7x64 Gateway 4300 w/a 2tb hdrive installed only sees 749 mg what to do?
I donwloaded the seagate Disc Wizard and I get the same response, only 749 mg.
Of course I haven't accepted the information or formated the drive to this specifications, so i haven't done anything.

Go to disk management in windows 7 and see if there are partitions or anything in the hard drive. If there is a firmware update from Seagate go check it out as well.
