Here is the thing. I got a vaio i7 3612 with 4GB@1600Mhz. But the HDD is 750GB @5200 rpm  . I think that's my performance bottleneck.

So I was thinking of buying another 4GB RAM and use it as a RAM Drive.
I know its a RAM and wont do anything with my boottimes, but after the RAM disc gets running, I must see a performance boost surpassing an SSDHybrid HDD, right??? :pt1cable: (As a RAM is way faster than SSD).
So instead of replacing my HDD@5400, would it be worthwhile to consider buying cheaper 4GB DDR. This have the added advantage of having an 8GB RAM when I multitask heavily(ya, no Ram disc then).

Thanks in advance

Thanks spat55
But my basic question remains,
would a RAM disc (or technically "virtual RAM drive" ) be better than an SSD Hybrid HDD.(Let alone the limited size of RAM disc)???
