Got a weird pop up from AMD that I never have seen before, is it Safe?

Ok I just restarted my PC due to 2 updates for Win 7. When the system restarted I received a pop up from AMD recommending a driver BUT I have never ever had AMD give me a popup before and pretty sure I do not have the gaming evolve software installed because I don't like raptor's software.

The main question is, is it safe? and secondary is what is the difference between the 2 versions.

While I await responses I will be googling and trying to find the differences for myself leaving the main question.

Yes, it is safe. It is part of AMD Catalyst Control center. Recent version of AMD CCC now features a software update checker and downloader. If I remembered correctly, it first featured in Catalyst 14.12 (Not counting beta drivers version).

OK. I just have never seen AMD give me this popup before. Maybe I just updated fast enough to prevent the popup from being triggered. As long as this is safe and normal I wont worry about it thanks for your input on this.
