Got AA issue

Whenever i turn on the AA feature on for the card
as soon as i start a game, the whole box freeze
and need a hard reset, no logs or dump created

Can the AA feature be broken (hardware wise) on a card
or it has always have to be driver related ?

ill reinstall the Os this weekend and start all over
on a clean base.

system is a P4B533/3.06HT/1Go@266
Saphire 9800Pro 128Mb
Winxp Pro / Cat 4.3

I'm not sure if disabling fastwrites can help with this issue - worth a try,
I guess.
