got an AMD 9370 for my birthday (rig cannot handle it)

Runs 82C in idle..with a thermaltake 120mm liquid cooling system. what do i need to upgrade so that i can run this monster of a cpu?! it's so damn hot im scared to even run a game.

Hello,

For such CPU (220W TDP), you need a 240-280mm liquid cooler and a very good motherboard (an 990FX chipset).

2 ballstix 4gb of ram.

The motherboard doesn't support it, the PSU is junk, and yes, you'll need either a 240-280mm rad or a double tower heatpipe cooler like a D14 or similar.
