I ran Memtest86+ for about 6 hours and got a single error with 8GB RAM (2x4GB Corsair Vengeance 1600Mhz). So I took one stick of RAM out and ran the test for about 8 hours. No errors. I popped the other one in, ran for about the same time, no errors again. Then I put both in, ran it again for about 8 hours, no errors. Should I disregard the error in the first test, or whats the deal?

If it matters, I'm using an i5-4690k and a Gigabyte Z97X Gaming 5 motherboard

First, you should always run memtest on a single stick at a time, so if you get any errors, you'll know which stick is bad.

If you can't reproduce the error again after 8 hrs. I'd assume it was a one time fluke and keep using the RAM. I'm assuming you ran the test with the RAM at its rated speed and not OC'ed in any way.
