[SOLVED] got new ram, now pc is stuck in boot loop.

I recieved a 16gb (2x8) kit of corsair vengeance lpx 3200 mhz ram. I installed it, and pc got stuck in endless boot loop, tried old ram, endless boot loop. I have an asrock a320m, and I was only upgrading my ram, nothing was wrong with my old ram. can provide information as needed.

PC was powered off and unplugged when you swapped RAM?

Are you on latest BIOS?

it was powered off and unplugged, I made sure of that. i haven't updated my bios in a few months, but I have done it. so i doubt it's the latest.

Now old ram has issues too?

Im wondering if ram isn't being completely seated properly?

Try single new or old stick in the first slot. Put it in even and press down until both side clips click in. Once in, push down a little more with a gentle wiggle.

it wasn't seated properly. it was quite a hassle but i figured it out.
