I have twin DCs in one single forest site domain.
GPO does not take effect both of them.(Other Domain
Computer is updating GPO.)
After recovering from death of SYSVOL of one of DC. lets
say DC1. It seems not beeing updating GPO on regular
interval. The death was given by rebooting of Windows
Update 21 Jan. recovering was done by backup image. Then,
on 8 March rebooting of Windows Update, they had
completely stopped updating GPO. The SceCli ID 1704 does
not appear since then.
It is diffcult for me because I could not get any clue in
event log.
I tried "secedit /refreshpolicy" at DC and reboot sevral
times but no effects. When I do "gpresult" it gives me the
date of policy applied and it is the time when I
did "secedit" command last time. dcdiag and net diag gives
me fine result.
I have a suspicious problem of the DC1 that it gets one
hour behind whenever it reboots. I always collect the time
as soon as its operation become available. But the net
time on DC1 is set up as to refer to outside ntp servers.
I have tried to find an article on the web to resolv this
problem but I could not find my case, so I need your
so now I should ask you guys please somebody give me an
idea.
Or do I have to rebuild DCs?
