GPS tracker?

I am currently engaged in a legal battle with my neighbor.

surveillance footage showed him breaking into my place and taking my dog who had been with me for almost 6 years.
it took quite some time to track down my pet, and i don't want to ever go through this again.

I also have a cat, and he sneaks out from time to time but always returns. i wonder if there's any... cheap, device i could buy to track the whereabouts of my pets in case they go missing again. conspiracy theorists always talk about a "tracking chip"... but does it exist? for pets, i mean...

umm… i was actually referring to a tracking chip 😅.
I know a micro chip exists that uses rfid for animal identification… it seems to be injected into the animal…

i also actually did search for a gps pet tracker, but all that showed up were those bluetooth alarm devices, and airtags… strange that yours gave more accurate results.

Hmm, apple airtags might be viable… its not that much more expensive than the other trackers i found online, cheaper than some of them in fact…

hmm, its the first I’ve read in depth about the airtags. Its amazing!

but it may pose a problem, what if the pet were to be deliberately stolen solely because of an apple logo dangling on them, with an unsuspecting person hoping to resell it? but then i would be able to track them anyway…

But ill definitely buy one now and see how it goes.

Just put any sticker on it and the logo will be concealed. 😉
