Hello, I recently bought a 10tb external seagate HDD that connects with USB. When I restarted my Computer I got a error message stating that I had a corrupt GPT Header. I am pretty sure that if I simply disconnect the external HDD it wont have this error.
When I checked disk manager it said that I had a EFI-Partition on the drive. Afaik that is for Boot drives. Is this the reason why I get errors? Should I remove this EFI-Partition? This external HDD is just supposed to expand my storage.
Thanks

Can you show us the Partitions window in DMDE?

https://dmde.com/

This is what the GPT Header looks like:

It is located in LBA 1. That's the second sector on the drive. If that sector is corrupt, we can fix it with DMDE. If you exit DMDE's Partitions window and then select Mode -> Hexadecimal/Text, you will see LBA 0. Page Down and you will then be in sector 1.
