I have WD blue 1tb 7200rpm hdd I converted it from mbr to gpt i want to know which one is better to use with win 10 64bit and what is the deference.

Does it mean that i can't convert my disk from MBR to GPT if i have old bios?

"AOMEI Partition Assistant" lets you convert your disk without losing data, but when i downloaded and ran it, i got this error:

Since the selected disk is a system or boot disk, before converting it to GPT disk, please make sure if your motherboard supports EFI/UEFI boot. If not, please don't convert it to GPT disk, otherwise your system will be unable to boot next time. Would you like to convert it?

I know my PC has Old style BIOS (blue and gray), but i wonder what would happen if i proceed anyway and if there is any workaround possible? I mean, what if i want to upgrade to a 4 TB HDD?

No I converted my hdd from mbr to gpt normally and my mother board is b350 am4 so it’s new enough.

In the article i linked it says if you have a bios only system, Windows 10 can only boot from an mbr formatted drive. If you format your os drive as gpt, windows will not boot. Hence the error message.
If you need a lot of storage from a single drive, your out of luck. Could try a 2 smaller drives in raid 0.

If you have a uefi only system, Windows can only boot from a gpt disk. Formatting the disk as mbr will cause windows not to boot. Some systems may be uefi by default but may be have a bios setting for csm (bios mode) that would allow you to use mbr drives.

So for the op, i believe b350 boards are uefi only (no csm mode in my bios at least), so you will need to have the disk as gpt.
