Hello everyone just here to explain my situation.
My case is an AVP X6 which is awful for airflow in my opinion. The reason for this is it has 2 front fans which are covered by a plastic window so you can see the rgb so barely any air can be drawn in to the case. aswell as this my i have 2 more fans one at the top as an exhaust and a 120mm radiator for my cpu cooler on the rear.

Anyway,

At this moment in time i have a KFA2 GTX 1070 which is suffering because of the horrible airflow. I plan to overclock this card but already with its fans at 100% it gets to 77C on watch dogs 2. However if i remove my tempered glass side panel it drops dramatically to 66. is there anyway i can cool the card without having to take off the side panel

Literally open to any suggestions please.

Thank you
Tyler

is there much risk in leaving the side panel off while playing bearing in mind im in a closed area 3ftx3ft

What would your suggestion be considering i dont have the money to buy a new case?

are those temperatures safe anything under 80c?

Technically you can go a bit higher, 95C is the max temp for that GPU however you'd get thermal throttling (performance reduced) way before that. On the last few Nvidia cards I've had I notice it around early to mid 80's.

Ok that's great, do you recommend any budget good airflow cases would be appreciated if it is under $60
