Gpu 12v rail + and - problem

i accidently pott a new 6pin to 6pin cable into one of the two pcie slots on the gtx 275, one already beeing populated. and it blew. i noticed after that the 12v cables and ground had been switched meaning one pcie was fine 12v to 12v ground to ground and the other pcie connector was 12v to ground ground to 12v. now the gpu turns on but has full fan speed and does not work on the computer "although it is detected"

any fix? baking?

Try a different PSU. if that doesn't work Buy a new card. You probably fried them both.

the psu is fine the gpu is ok apart from the issues i said

The card is dead, there is no way it can be repaired.
Running power the wrong way through some electrical circuits fries them.
