I was going to go with a 4 GB 290 DirectCU II, but on Newegg, the 2 GB 270X DirectCU II is on sale for $179 (after $10 rebate). I was wondering what differences there would be between a 290, and Crossfiring 2 270X's?
Since I'm going for a quiet build, would 2 270X's make a lot more noise?

Thanks :)

Admirable
AMD STILL hasn't completely fixed their crossfire, it may have something to do that they're currently focusing on improving dual graphics efficiency... So a single card is a more efficient option here.

OK, so I'll go with a 4GB 290 as opposed to 2 x 2GB 270x's.

Thanks
