Hi I was wondering if this Gigabyte GTX 1060 would fit into the Thermaltake View 31 Case.
I plan on mounting the gpu vertically which is why I have gone with this case.

Will the gpu fit in the vertical position or is the card too thick to vertically mount it? Will the case also come with a extender card or will I need to buy one? Thanks!

Looks like if it does fit, it'll be right on the window, I don't think I'd chance it. Are you water cooling the card? Also, you will need to buy the riser cable, the card will mount to the case, but there's no cable to run to and from. I'd go with something like this:

It will give you room for the fans of the card, and it comes with everything you need to mount the card, plus, it's got a bracket to help support the weight of the card so it's not all on the card front. You may need to mod the back of the case for it so you can use the outputs, but that's part of the fun. I think there may be cheaper mounts that do the same thing, I didn't search long. Maybe different manufacturers, but with the mount, you can go with pretty much any case and mount the card perpendicular to the motherboard.

The case comes with a bracket for the gpu to installed that you have to install yourself, it hovers above the place the psu goes, so im pretty sure that the vertical display wouldn't be needed. No I am not thinking of water cooling the card I wanted the cooler because I would make it try to sync up if possible with the case fans as well as the motherboard LEDs, or just have it to a static color.
