[SOLVED] GPU and CPU Usage when playing game

I have a gaming pc with an RX 480 8GB Asus Strix and Ryzen 5 2600 and 8GB Corsair Vengence 2133 Ram. Right now i just play fortnite with eveything low at 1080. because fortnite has gotten really competitive these are the settings everyone uses. i've locked the fps at 120 to 144.
Q. should my GPU usage be at 45% and CPU at 25 to 30% when playing because this is the usage im getting.

No, you shouldn't have low usage like that especially on your GPU it's not even using 50% of its power.

read this guide do note tho you will always have a bottleneck but not to this level if bottlenecks didn't exist we would have infinite FPS.

Reason. Fortnite isnt a major GPU intensive game...once the settings is at low its normal that it will run around the 40s....you will see if you up the graphics the GPU will use more power. Its normal.

Also total cpu usage is fairly meaningless, you need to monitor all cores/threads. It can only take 1-2 cores close to 100% to limit gaming performance.
