Hello

I have a GeForce GTX 1050 TI SC GPU which requires 300 watt. But when I play games like CS GO and compare to some YouTube videos i don't get near as many fps. When i play maps like dust 2 or mirage my fps is 60-140 and youtubers get over 200 fps.

Currently I have a 300 watt OEM PSU, I think it will help if I got a better PSU. Am I right?
btw my CPU is an AMD A-10 7800

Solution
I think your problem is less the video card than your CPU, but if you have a 1050ti that requires 300w, then you would need at least 500w because your AMD needs 65w. itself making it in a glimpses 360w minimum. add HDD, motherboard , memory, you definitely need more Watts

Hi,

First, it is the suggested PSU wattage size that is 300W, the card actually only draws around 75W. Now while a low powered PSU can affect video card performance you would see other issues such as overheating, shutdowns and screen freezes. Your issue is more likely related to some other system resource being overtaxed. Without entire system specs it is hard to properly assess.
