Hey,
I want to upgrade my graphics card(660 at the moment) to an Aorus (or another gigabyte type) 1080. The problem i have is, will my PSU be enough. I have a Modecom Feel 600W PSU. Should I change it or will it be enough?
Thank you.

Solution

550W or 650W, depends on what you want, I run a 650W in my system in sig.

I live in Lithuania, I could search online, we have plenty online websites to purchase from, but i haven't seen any Aorus GPUs but should be plenty of PSUs. I could try to buy from the companies themselves through newegg, ebay or aliexpress.

That's an excellent PSU, but it's actually $79 before Mail-In Rebate.

Here's a few others that are cheaper but still reliable. https://pcpartpicker.com/products/compare/dDH48d,FdRFf7,3F2rxr,KmgzK8/

I wouldn't run a high end GPU like a GTX 1080 etc off a budget Corsair CX series PSU, not recommended for high end systems.

Maybe risk a GTX 1050 or something, but not a high end GPU.

They have all the same safety features. It is a good point though.

If you can afford a GTX 1080 you should be able to afford a high-tier PSU.

Yeah, it drives me nuts when I see people use those things in higher end machines.

Only time will tell if the newer ones are actually any good or not, I have my doubts personally.

I don't recommend anything less than the TXM and wouldn't buy less than the RMX from them with my money.
