[SOLVED] Gpu black screen problem

so a friend of mine built a pc, and he gets black screen with his gpu, so i plugged mine in and all worked perfectly, we then plugged his gpu into my pc and all was fine, so to sum up only his gpu doesnt work on his pc. Can anyone please help me, its urgent

asus strix vega 56(his gpu)
16gb 3200mhz corsair
be quiet pure power 11 600w(semi modular)
ssd
msi b450 vaming pro



my gpu: asus rx580
my system:
ryzen 5 2600
asrock b450
16gb ddr4
600w thermaltake(non modular)

yes we checked and used the other power output from the psu

Maybe, that shouldn't be the case, but you never know. Sometimes components are tricky like that and are really annoying. For instance, some older cards won't work with newer motherboards, etc.

So, we found out what the problem was, actually the PSU doesn't work with the vega 56, I can't give a reason why but I found others with the same problem, so I bought a new PSU and now everything's fine.
