Need some help. I have an HP Omen 880-160se CTO which comes with a 750 W Platinum PSU and 2 PCI Express x16 physical slots (Gen 3.0), each slot with x8 bus lanes, I'm currently using a Nvidia GTX 1070 FE and it's all good, recently bought a gtx 1080 FE and when installed it's all black screen since I power up the PC, no bios just black! I tested the other pcie slot and the same happens, go back to the gtx 1070 and works great! I tried the gtx 1080 on an older PC with less powerful PSU and it works!! what is wrong with my PC? I tried once to uninstall with DDU but no luck! it's driving me crazy!

Can you help me?

Solution
If your gtx 1070FE is the OEM type, that means it comes with the PC, and the new gtx1080 is the retail type, check the linker from HP tech support.

If your gtx1070fe is the retail one, you may check the MB BIOS. If the MB does not have newer version, use the gtx1070 update the BIOS first, then switch to the gtx1080.
